Monthly counters reset on the first day of each calendar month (UTC), not on your signup date. Your account settings show the exact date.
A seat is any person who can reach your projects, including you — sub-accounts and project members count once each, even if someone is both.
Downgrading never deletes anything. Existing projects stay editable and no team member is removed; you are simply blocked from adding more until you are back under the limit.
Payments are handled by Polar as merchant of record, so sales tax and VAT are included where they apply. See the terms
